Make your own Log Dog using tools and hotdogs on the campfire for lunch! Plus the usual woodland fun!

Refreshments:

Juice, water and tea or coffee for adults, please bring your own cup with a lid.

Lunch:

Campfire lunch! Please inform me of any dietary requirements.

Parking:

Please park opposite the Forest Friends van.

Directions by Road

From A19 turn onto Sutton Road, immediately turn left onto The Abbe's Walk. Squirrel Wood is located on the left just before the sign into Burghwallis.

From the A1, exit at Burghwallis, turn left into Burghwallis then straight onto Abbe's Walk; Squirrel Wood is situated on the right hand side. Look out for the big gates with 'Squirrel Wood' on top.

Key Points

The session will still take place in all weathers, with the exception of high winds, thunderstorms and extreme unsafe weather. You will be notified by email & text of any cancellations before the event.

What To Expect

Forest Friends is a completely outdoor playgroup recommended for under 7s with a variety of activities including mud kitchen, bug hunting, rope swings, crafts and much more! All sessions provide lots of outdoor fun, nature play and activities all within a woodland environment.
