Event Details

Bring along your favourite father figure for a morning of outdoor woodland fun! Use tools to make a wooden car, den building, bug hunting, campfire lunch for children and campfire s'mores! Plus the usual woodland fun!

Squirrel Wood Campsite - The Abbe's Walk, , Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN6 9FE

Refreshments:

Juice, water and tea or coffee for adults, please bring your own cup with a lid.

Lunch:

Campfire lunch! Please inform me of any dietary requirements.

Parking:

Please park opposite the Forest Friends van.

Directions by Road

From A19 turn onto Sutton Road, immediately turn left onto The Abbe's Walk. Squirrel Wood is located on the left just before the sign into Burghwallis.

From the A1, exit at Burghwallis, turn left into Burghwallis then straight onto Abbe's Walk; Squirrel Wood is situated on the right hand side. Look out for the big gates with 'Squirrel Wood' on top.

Key Points

The session will still take place in all weathers, with the exception of high winds, thunderstorms and extreme unsafe weather. You will be notified by email & text of any cancellations before the event.
